Hotlink RM30 Shopping Voucher Giveaway Promotion - Terms & Conditions
Terms & Conditions
Maxis Mobile Services Sdn Bhd (73315-V) and e-pay (M) Sdn Bhd (494207-U) (the “Organiser”) will be jointly running a Hotlink RM30 Shopping Voucher Giveaway (“the Campaign”) and by participating in this Campaign the participants hereby expressly agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. |
Eligibility
| 1. |
The Campaign is open to all registered Hotlink customers residing in Malaysia that possess an active Hotlink line at the time of the Campaign (the “Eligible Participants”) |
| 2. |
Employees of the Organiser are not eligible for this Campaign. |
Campaign Mechanics & Conditions
| 3. |
This Campaign will commence from 1st February 2012, 12:01am and end on 16th March 2012, 11:59pm Malaysian time ("Campaign Period"). The Organiser reserves the right to alter and/or amend the Campaign, Campaign Period and the terms & conditions of the Campaign without any prior notice. |
| 4. |
Campaign Eligibility a. To qualify for this Campaign, Eligible Participants must make a purchase of a Hotlink top up at a minimum of RM30 at either 99 Speed Mart, My Mart Mydin or MyNEWS.com (the “Participating Retailers”) during the Campaign Period within 3 Bonus Hours daily. |

Daily Bonus Hours daily are divided by:
a. 09:00am – 10:00am
b. 10:01am – 11:00am
c. 11:01am – 12:00pm
d. 12:01pm – 01:00pm
e. 01:01pm – 02:00pm
f. 02:01pm – 03:00pm |
g. 03:01pm – 04:00pm
h. 04:01pm – 05:00pm
i. 05:01pm – 06:00pm
j. 06:01pm – 07:00pm
k. 07:01pm – 08:00pm

Selection method for winners daily:
a. 1, 5, 9, 13, 17, 21, 25, 29 Feb & 4, 8, 12, 16 Mar 2012): Bonus hours – (a), (e), (i)
b. 2, 6, 10, 14, 18, 22, 26 Feb & 1, 5, 9, 13 Mar 2012): Bonus hours – (b), (f), (j)
c. 3, 7, 11, 15, 19, 23, 27 Feb & 2, 6, 10, 14 Mar 2012): Bonus hours – (c), (g), (k)
d. 4, 8, 12, 16, 20, 24, 28 Feb & 3, 7, 11, 15 Mar 2012): Bonus hours – (d), (h), (l) |
Winners Selection
| 7. |
Winners will be based on the first successful Hotlink top up transaction (based on activation of MSISDN) at a minimum of RM30 within Bonus Hours each day from each of the Participating Retailers. |
| 8. |
Each unique MSISDN can only win one (1) prize throughout the Campaign Period. |
Prizes
| 9. |
There will be a total of three (3) RM30 Shopping Vouchers to be given away daily for 45 days for each Participating Retailer.
a. 99 Speed Mart: RM30 shopping voucher x 3 (three) winners daily x 45 days
b. My Mart Mydin: RM30 shopping voucher x 3 (three) winners daily x 45 days
c. MyNEWS.com: RM30 shopping voucher x 3 (three) winners daily x 45 days |

All prizes are not transferable. |
| 11. |
Selected winners for the hour will be contacted in 2 (two) attempts within 3 (three) working days each for verification failing which the next active MSISDN will be contacted and so on. |

Winners from Klang Valley will have to collect the prize from e-pay’s main office at 16-18, Jalan PJS 11/28 A, Bandar Sunway, 46150 Petaling Jaya during operation hours Monday – Friday 9:00am – 5:30pm, except for Public Holidays. |
| 13. |
Cash vouchers will be posted for outstation winners by normal post and there will be no proof of delivery. |
| 14. |
In the event a winner is found to be ineligible at any point of time during or after the Campaign Period, the Organiser reserves the right to disqualify the said winner and to cancel/withdraw/recall the prizes from being delivered to the ineligible winner. If the ineligible winner has received the prizes, he or she hereby agrees and undertakes to return the prizes, failing which, the Organiser shall have the right to initiate any action as it deems necessary against the ineligible winner. |
General Terms and Conditions
| 15. |
The Organiser reserves the right to disqualify entries that are ineligible or due to any reasons whatsoever as the Organiser may in its absolute discretion deem fit. |
| 16. |
Winners are responsible for any and all taxes (if any), fees or charges payable as a result of a prize being awarded or received. |
| 17. |
All prizes are used/accepted entirely at the risk of the winner at all times and the Organiser excludes all warranties in connection with any prize to the extent permitted by law. |
| 18. |
The Organiser, its agencies, affiliates, sponsors and representatives are not responsible for misuse of any prize, or for any claims, liability, loss or damage arising out of or in connection with any Campaign promoted by the Organiser. |
| 19. |
The Organiser shall not be liable to the Eligible Participants and/or any customer or any other party for any loss or damage of whatsoever nature suffered by a customer as a result of participation or non-participation in the Contest or as a result of any act or omission on the part of the Organiser. |
| 20. |
By participating in the Campaign, Eligible Participants shall be deemed to have unconditionally accepted all the Terms and Conditions of this Campaign and the Eligible Participants further (i) agree to co-operate and comply with all reasonable requests of the Organiser in connection with the Campaign; (ii) agree to disclose personal details to the Organiser for the purpose of organizing, promoting and conducting the Campaign; and (iii) consent to receiving promotional, marketing and other publicity information from the Organiser from time to time. |

These Campaign terms and conditions shall be read and accepted by the Eligible Participants for purposes of the Campaign. |
| 22. |
There will be no additional charges imposed. However, where applicable, the implementation of the 6% government service tax shall apply. |
| 23. |
The Organiser reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any Eligible Participant that is found or suspected of tampering with the Campaign and/or its process or the operation of this Campaign. The Organiser reserves the right to disqualify any Eligible Participant and/or to forfeit any prize and/or reward from an Eligible Participant it believes has undertaken fraudulent practice and/or activities or other activities harmful to this Campaign or the Campaign submission process. Fraudulent activities are deemed to include, but is not limited to any act of deceit and/or deception and/or cheating. |

If any of Eligible Participants become one of the winners, the Eligible Participants will have an option to opt out from this campaign and not be selected as winner. |
| 25. |
All winners are obliged, if required by the Organiser, to attend the prize presentation ceremony and other publicity programs organized by the Organiser as and when required at their own cost, unless expressly provided for by the Organiser. |
| 26. |
By participating in this Campaign, Eligible Participants agree to be bound by the Campaign Terms and Conditions and the decisions of the panel of judges. The decisions of the judges are final and no appeals and/or objections will be entertained. |
| 27. |
The Organiser reserves the right to publish or display the names and photographs of winners for advertising and publicity purposes without compensation. |
| 28. |
The Organiser reserves the absolute right at any time without assigning any reasons to add, alter, modify, change or vary the Campaign Terms and Conditions contained herein, wholly or in part at its absolute discretion. |
| 29. |
The Organiser reserves the absolute right at any time without assigning any reasons thereto to cancel, terminate, postpone or suspend indefinitely the Campaign. |
| 30. |
The Organiser shall not be liable for any default due to any natural disaster, war, riot, strike, lockout, industrial action, fire, flood, drought, storm or any event beyond the reasonable control of the Organiser. |
| 31. |
A failure by the Organiser to enforce any of these Campaign Terms and Conditions in any instance(s) will not give rise to any claim by any person. |
| 32. |
This campaign is being offered by the Organiser for the benefit of Participating Retailers’ customers and the Participating Retailers shall not be held liable for any claims, losses, damages, cost or expenses incurred or suffered by the Participating Retailers’ customers in participating in this Campaign. |
