Pos Malaysia Bhd and e-pay (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd have entered into a strategic alliance to provide convenient prepaid reloads for mobile phone users.
With immediate effect, customers will be able to purchase prepaid reloads from all general post offices across Malaysia as well as post offices in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor.
“This strategic partnership with e-pay will allow Pos Malaysia to tap over 17 million prepaid mobile users across the country,” Pos Malaysia managing director and chief executive officer Datuk Ikmal Hijaz Hashim said in a statement. |
Plans are underway to further extend the service to post offices and mini-post offices all over the country.
Among the services offered by e-pay are prepaid reload convenience for Maxis, Celcom and Digi users as well as for the TMnet and Jaring Internet access top-up, prepaid long-distance call iTalk, Ring-Ring, pay television MiTV and MOL epoints.
“Pos Malaysia aims to bring more convenience to our customers by expanding our service offerings to enhance our retail services,” said Ikmal.
He said the company’s partnership with e-pay Malaysia was part of its value-added service offerings.
Executive director of e-pay Malaysia Datuk Hassan Said, meanwhile, said the company was looking forward to working closely with Pos Malaysia in delivering its prepaid mobile reload services to its prepaid mobile users so that they can reload their prepaid credit at a wider choice of points-of-sale.
