
Hotlink, Malaysia's hottest prepaid, steams ahead of its prepaid contenders with a promotion to send one lucky subscriber to Australia. Since it was launched on 15 November 2002 it has been receiving tremendous response recording close to 100% sales growth at the participating outlets including BP ,Caltex, Esso, Mobil, Petronas, Projet and Shell.
This promotion was designed to reward Hotlink subscribers in two tiers comprising an immediate gratification and a secondary gratification via contest. For the immediate reward, every Hotlink top-up was given a 325ml can of the new Pepsi Twist. In addition, subscribers could also enter a contest to win the Grand Prize of a 6-days trip for two to Sydney Australia.

And the deserving winner of the Grand Prize is Anna Lau Lee Heong who won a trip for two to Sydney, Australia with her creative entry. Second prize winner goes to Mohd Izman Teay who won a trip to Hong Kong and third prize winner Sattananttan A/L Sahadevan goes home with a trip to Langkawi.
Other prizes that were awarded included 10 Nokia 3610 handsets and 100 Hotlink top-up vouchers worth RM100 each for the rest of the lucky winners.
Although the prize giving signifies the end of this promotion, Hotlink's education process will drive on. This promotion was intended to educate Hotlink subscribers on the additional convenience of top-up.

Now, Hotlink through e-pay and its 3,500 retailers are able to provide subscribers with reliable top-up solutions. e-pay is a virtual reload service thus eliminating both denomination and stock problems. Ultimately, the subscribers can save time with their top-up since the outlet will be able to draw on on-line stocks to facilitate the purchase.
